Weekly Tech Tips 28 February 2021

Dear Friends, I hope you are well. Weekly Shortcut If you use Google Classroom to grade and comment on students’ papers then I have a little shortcut for you that saves me a lot of time. Instead of highlighting a word or passage, then right clicking and selecting Add Comment, you see now that Docs now automatically brings up Add comment and Suggest edits. But EVEN faster is to use Control Shift arrow keys to highlight the word or words, then Control Alt (Control Option on a Mac) M to open the comment box and then don’t hit Enter, but Control Enter to save the comment. If you just hit Enter you just get a new line in the comment box. This way you can leave a comment without ever taking your fingers off the keyboard!
